- Chosen by Voters Your best bet would be to have the car insured under your parent's name as a pleasure car. WRX/STI's and Evo's are notorious for having huge insurance premiums for people under 25. When I looked into getting an Evo, Progressive wanted $400/month from me. I entered my father's info and the quote dropped to $75/month full coverage. If any of your family members are in the armed forces, you can get insurance through USAA.
